Colon Cleanser - Colonix /今日から腸を綺麗にします！

Colon Cleansing Day 1
From today, I am going to try to clean my colon... I just bought this colon cleanser kit at my office with my other colleagues. It's called "Colonix". Those people who already have tried said that this one works more than anything else. However, you need to be careful and drink A LOT OF WATER during this cleansing period which will takes at least 3 weeks. Otherwise, the poop (sorry to the people who were eating and reading my blog...) will get harden and won't come out and get a heavy headache after all... It gets toxicated I think... Scary!! The guide recommend you to take this kit for 2-3 months. But, I would like to see how it's gonna happen for a month, not longer than that... It is little scary, right?
Since I am starting from today, I would like to write how it's progressing here like my weight and stuff... Well, I won't write whole thing though.. haha ;P

今日から腸を綺麗にする「Colonix」というサプリメントを摂ることにしました。ダイエット、ダイエットといいつつ、野菜スープダイエット、グレープフルーツダイエットなどちょっとやって来ましたが、やっぱり力が出なくなって来たり、疲れが出やすくなってしまったりで、ギブアップ（やっぱり私には肉が必要！）ちゃんと運動すればいいのにーっつー言葉もちらほら聞こえてきますが．．．、今度は会社の同僚から腸を綺麗にすると３週間で14パウンド(6.3kg)も減る、肌の調子が良くなる（これあんまり問題ない．．．）！便秘解消になる（私平気）！という言葉を聞いて、これに挑戦！やっと昨日このサプリメント届いて、今朝から飲み始めました。早速「出た？」．．．いや．．．何も（すいません、下品で）。明日ぐらいからかな。でも腸がごろごろ言ってます。ただこのサプリを飲む時に気をつけないといけないのが
３種類のサプリを１日で摂ることになるのですが、その時に、また１日の間に２リットル以上の水は必ず飲まないといけないらしいです。さもないと、腸の中で柔らかくスルスルと出てくる物が逆に固まって便秘になるらしいです。最悪な場合、疲れ、激頭痛がし、体に異変が出る．．．なんてことを聞いたので、気をつけたい！さーどうなることやら．．．。
これと一緒に昨晩からちゃんと運動を始めて、青汁も飲み始めました。笑
いつも極端な私です。

全部はここに書かないけど、自分のためにもここに記録して行きますー。

My trip in Boston for 4 days were such a fun trip. It was the first trip to Boston, and didn't know much about the city at the beginning however, I learned a bit before I took this trip, and learned more by absorbing the city. And thanks to my friend, Arndt even though he was super busy for work, he took some time to take me around. He even took me to Rhode Ialand too. That made such a memorable trip.

Boston is already getting ready to be in Autumn season, and that was something that you can't enjoy in Los Angeles. The leafs were getting red, and the air was getting crispier. I love this type of weather. I guess I was very lucky and the weather report was wrong for first 3 days.
Except the last day, Boston city stayed very fine for me.
My mission: to have a New England Clam Chowder, and lobster roll, and to see MIT University, and Harvard University were accomplished too. :)

The city was well-built for public transportation, and easy to walk around. So I didn't have any problem to get around. It was full of history and such a beautiful city. Why didn't I think of moving to Boston seriously back in the college time? Just because I was advised that it would be very expensive up there, I simply gave up without researching more...

Thanks so much, Arndt. I hope you weren't too tired to take me around... and got your work done too. :) Have a good trip to Tanzania and I will see you again in Germany, Arndt!

ボストンに行ってきたよ！秋がもうすでに始まっていて空気も冷たいボストンだったけど、ロスではあまり体験の出来ない季節が始まってました。とても綺麗です。紅葉なんてロスではあまり見ないもんね。冬が好きな私としてはこの季節、超ロスにあって欲しいです。
ボストンの街並みもとても素敵。ヨーロッパの香りというか、イーストコーストならではの雰囲気が味わえた感じです。
友達のアントもアメリカでの生活がもうそんなにないというのに、私のために時間を割いてくれて、超感謝。２日目は車で約１時間半ぐらいのロードトリップでマサチューセッツ州の隣、ロードアイランド州にまで連れて行ってくれました。なんて優しいんでしょう〜〜。
ボストン名物のクラムチャウダーとロブスターロール、ハーバード大学、MIT大学．．．と私が体験したかったものもちゃんと全て体験でき、しかもちゃんと地下鉄のシステムがちゃんと成り立ってるし、超歩き安い！3日目は困りもせず１日中、一人でボストンの街を満喫することもできた。
アントは月曜日にアメリカでの仕事を終え、火曜日から１ヶ月間アフリカはタンザニアへ行き、キリマンジャロの山でキャンプするそうです。その後、ドイツで血液や血管についての研究を再スタートするみたい。がんばれ〜〜〜！ またドイツで会いましょう。

He is one of the smartest guys I know. But as we talk more, I find him he is a old fashion type of guy when it comes to internet... hehe

1日目：これがアント。友達の中で多分超頭の良いやつの一人だと思う。彼と話すと色々と学びます。でもインターネットに関しては「Gmail見てると、全部の広告見たくなるから嫌い！」と言っていたコメントに笑ってしまったww




1st day: Dr. Arndt was trying to show me a heart beat of Zebra fish babies. Those babies were so tiny and its body was crystal clear. But I still saw its heart beat through Microscope. That was amazing.

アント博士はゼブラフィッシュの赤ちゃんの心臓を顕微鏡を通して見せてくれた。超ちっこくてクリアなボディをした赤ちゃんの心臓の動きを見て私は感動！








1st day:As I arrived in Boston, on same night, we went to see the Presets and Cut Copy show at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. I danced like a crazy with those 18 yrs old kids and had a lot of fun! I hope Arndt did too...

4th day：at Chicago O'hare Airport. I had to wait like an hour to go back to Los Angeles. I was pretty tired...　but this sculpture on ceiling by Michael Hayden was pretty cool. It changes its color by the sound.
4日目：シカゴのオハレ空港で。ここから１時間飛行機が遅れることに．．．。待ち時間で超疲れた。

Trip to Boston / ボストン旅行行って来ます～～！

I am going to visit one of my long-term friends, Arndt in Boston from tonight.
My flight is at 10:30PM, and this will be my first time to fly by a red-eye flight and to Boston.
Arndt is from Germany, and he researches under Biology field (I forgot what his research was about.. sorry...). And he has been about 3 years and his time is up for H1 Visa. Time to go home in October. Before he goes home for good, I have to visit him.
As for the weather in Boston, it's already 58F degree (15C degree) in daytime, and 47F degree (8C degree) at night... Wow, it's cold! But I love being in Autumn/Winter, so I can't wait to enjoy the season ahead from California. :)

わーい、わーい、今晩からボストンへ行ってくるよー。高校の時からずーーーっと友達（もう17年間にもなるわ、、、ながっ！）のドイツの友達、アントのところへ遊びに行ってきます。彼とは高校留学の時からのお友達。その時から今の今まで友情が続いてるって言ったら彼と日本のみほちゃんしかいない！貴重でとても大切な友達２人です。その彼が３年前からボストン周辺でバイオロジーの研究をするという目的で就労ビザ３年間もらって来ました。でも延長しないでドイツへ帰るんだって。NYCで３年前に一回しか会ってないから、アメリカでこうやって会うのはもうこれが最後．．．。さびしーー！でもまたドイツに遊びに行けばいいんもんね。
ということで、楽しんでくるよ！でも、今もうすでに寒いみたい．．．。昼間は華氏約58度（摂氏15度）、夜は華氏47度（摂氏８度）らしい。冬が好きな私はちょっとこれが楽しみです。しかし、何が面白いんだろう、、ボストンって．．．。

Lately, I see this kind of sky a lot in the morning. I know what it's called in Japanese, but didn't know in English. I looked up online and found out that it's called "Altocumulus cloud". According to Wikipedia, "Altocumulus often are seen preceding a cold front, and their presence on a warm, humid, summer morning frequently signals the development of thunderstorms later in the day. Alto means high and these clouds may cause rain if they are higher up."

Hmm... well, it didn't rain... I guess it wasn't higher enough to make it rains. Well, it's pretty anyway...


最近、「うろこ雲」をこの２−３日の間朝によく見ます。うろこ雲ってどんな時になったんだっけな．．．と思ってウィキってみたら、天気学では「巻積雲」というみたい。秋になるとよく見る雲みたいです。「巻積雲」について.

秋になってきたってことなのかね．．．。しかし、時間が経つのが早すぎる．．．。
あ、アメリカで今すごく被害を出している「ハリケーン・アイク」。またガソリンの値段上がるっぽい．．．。いい加減にしてくれーー！
しかも、ハリケーンは政府がコントロールしてるって聞くし．．．

This documentary "Weather War" looks very interesting. Scott Stevens who had worked as a meteorologist for over 20 years created this film. It's about the weather which is controlled by technology, and government... Sounds scary (well it IS scary if this is true!) but interesting. I would like to watch this when it comes out.

I haven't put any photos of my cats lately... I don't think people cares about my cats, but I want to put them up anyway. Sometimes I think if or when my cats are gone under any circumstances, I would regret that I didn't do anything for them such as like this. Remaining their images somewhere noticeable. Besides that, my cats are the cutest!! lol

久々にうちの猫の写真をアップww　自己中的に上げさせてもらうよー。なんせ、うちの猫ちん達は最高にかわいいからな。はははー。なーんて。
でもやっぱり、こうやって形に残しておきたいものです。元気なうちにね。オリーブはもう11歳になるし、今は元気でぴんぴんしてるけど、いつどうなるか分からないからね．．．。

And somehow, he knows how to use my iMAC now... He made an account at Facebook. I don't even know how he did it!!

あ、最近、なんか私のいない間にこいつ、PC触れるようになったらしいです。Facebookのアカウント作ってました．．．。皆さん、友達になってやってくださいまし。じゅんちゃん宅のみゃおぎくんもアカウント作ってたらしいし。猫の間で流行ってるのかね。

Radiohead - a recipe from "Bangers and Mash" /音楽から来たレシピ

Radiohead's new CD "In Rainbow" brought me to a new world. I know they've been around for a long time, and I didn't even give a chance to listen to their music...until my friend Midori gave me this CD. The new album has been around quite sometimes now. How long? Like since last December or something? And one of my friends just went to their concert tonight!
Their concert tickets are always sell out too quickly.. like in 5 min or so. Last April, when they started to sell, my friends and I were online and were soooo ready to get the tickets.
But the stupid internet... it made us wait and wait and wait.... and boom! Gone!
I'm jealous to the ppls who went to see the show tonight. :(

Anyway, in their bonus track #07, there is a song it's called "Bangers and Mash". Somehow I searched the title in Google, and wondered what else that title could mean. And this is what I got... Bangers and Mash Recipe
It was a English recipe.. Grilled onion, sausage, and mashed potato in the plate, putting some turkey gravy sauce and bake them. Mmmmm.... yum.. It sounded heavy but pretty good so I decided to cook one.
I added some mozzarella cheese on it, and baked it. It came out nice and delicious.
It wasn't hard at all to cook. It took me about 40 min to cook?


今日、ハリウッドボールでRadioheadのコンサートがあったみたい．．．。あー超行きたかった！前までRadioheadなんて好きじゃなかったのに、今回の新しいアルバム"In Rainbow"から好きになってしまったよねー。Radioheadのコンサートチケットの前売りがあった時に友達と一生懸命取ろうとがんばったのに、売り始め５分で売り切れたからね。多分もっと短かったかも．．．。まーとにかく、そのコンサートに行った楽しそうに語る友達をうらやましく思いながら、私はこのBangers and Mashとなるものを作ってみました。

このレシピは実はそのRadioheadの曲から来ていて（多分本当は逆だと思うけど）、この曲名をなぜかググってみたら、このレシピが出て来たんだよね。

基本的にはグリルオニオン、ソーセージ、マッシュドポテトにグレービーソースをかけて
オーブンで焼くだけ。超簡単。カロリー多そうだけど、興味ある人はおいしいのでぜひ作ってみてください。
