Yesterday was such a fulfilled day - a freelance meeting, shopping, visiting a good friend, eating a good food, and enjoying a very cool live show...
昨日は満喫した日でしたww フリーでのお仕事先のお客様に会ったり、ショッピング行ったり、友達に会いに行ったり、おいしい食事して、最後にはコンサートまで行っちゃいました。
My day started pretty early like 8AM to get ready to meet my client in Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice. My client - a photography gallery which focuses and concerns on environment, and their photography is all about environment. It's called G2 Gallery. I love the concept, and love their photography work, and now I'm going to make their website more communicable through their work, not from text.
今朝は８時から一日が始まり、１０時ベニスビーチにあるAbbot Kinney Blvdで環境をテーマにしたフォトギャラリーのお客様に会いに行って来ました。エコにも気を使っていてフローリングもカーペットもリサイクルできるようにとそれ用の素材を選んだそうです。こういうお客様と一緒に働けるのはとても嬉しいです。このギャラリーのサイトをこれから手がける訳ですが、彼らの意思がちゃんと伝わるように一生懸命がんばります！
After finished the meeting, I stopped by Echo Park to browse around on the cute clothing stores I've never been to. I found a store it's
called "Sirens & Sailors". It was off from the major street, Sunset Blvd. So I wouldn't realize if I wanted to park my car for some other shops. They got cute vintage clothing, jewelries, and local artists' items. I asked the clark if it's new, and she said "no, it's been around 8 years." ... Where was I for all these years???
ミーティングの後はエコーパークでお買い物。お買い物禁止令がどこからともなく解けて（？）服を何着か買ってしまいました。買った後はもちろんのごとく後悔です、、、。でもそのうちの一つ、「Sirens and Sailors」はお宝発見！ぐらいに思っていたのですが、このかわいいブティック、実はもう８年もビジネスをやっていると言い、ちょっと私はどこにいたんだろうとショックを受けました。ビンテージのドレス、ジュエリー、靴、ローカルアーティストのアイテムとモールじゃ絶対に見つからないものばっかりでまた私のお気に入り店が増えましたww

After shopping, my buddy Meguppe picked me up at my house, and we drove toward to South Pasadena to meet my big "Brother", Ernie Hernandez's salon. He just opened his own salon "Mission Ten Eleven" on this Tuesday.
Ernie got such a good taste, so I already imagined his salon would be really cool. And yup, I was RIGHT!
His Salon was like one scene from a French movie or fashion magazine. But it is not snobbish or anything,
it also got some friendly atmosphere to come in the salon.
買い物の後、めぐっぺが家までに迎えに来てくれ、サウスパサデナにある私のお兄ちゃん/元美容師先輩ことErnieのサロンへ訪問しに行きました。Ernieのサロン「Mission Ten Eleven」はついこの間の火曜日にオープンしたばかり。
彼のセンスはいつもおしゃれでこのサロンもさぞかしかっこいいんだろうなーとは思っていましたが、やっぱり！かっこよかったです。映画のワンシーンもしくはファッション雑誌にでてくるような雰囲気。でも堅苦しくなく、素直にぱっと入れるようなそんな空間でした。めぐっぺと二人でErnieは男の中の男だなーとちょっとため息ついてみました。男らしい男って素敵だなーー。アーニー、祝開店おめでとう！！

Ernie's cutting another friend of ours, Monica's hair. She is soooo pretty like a model, but she is a professional photographer.Her photos are so beautiful and I felt so peaceful around her photos.
ヘアカットされているお客さんは私がパサデナの美容院で働いていた時の同僚、モニカ。超かわいくってモデルさんにもなれそうなのに、プロのカメラマンしてます。アーティスティックでどことなく「静かな」写真を取る人だなと個人的に思ってます。
